Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center Hosted an LGBTQ Healthcare Community Forum

Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center hosted an LGBTQ Healthcare Community Forum on Sept. 25 in the Sierra Vista Auditorium at 1010 Murray Ave., in SLO. The attendees met with local healthcare providers who are committed to improving the health and well-being of the LGBTQ community with sensitive and culturally competent care. There was also a roundtable discussion about the state of LGBTQ healthcare in the community and the issues that matter most to LGBTQ patients and their families. “We are dedicated to providing care that is culturally competent and patient-centered to all people,” said Mark Lisa, CEO of Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, “regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability or veteran status.”
